Labor Day has come and gone, but with the unofficial end of summer comes amazing fall riding! The crowds are gone, the water is still warm, the beaches are open, and the thermals are back. After a challenging start to the season for wind sports, the winds have returned—and we’re expecting plenty of good days ahead!
As a reminder, we’ll continue running our Kite & Wing lessons and Island rides to Kite Island through the end of October. We still have spots available for our annual pilgrimage to the Outer Banks in November—our capstone trip of the year and one not to be missed! Learn more here: https://conta.cc/46tqV06
We’d also like to give a warm welcome to one of our newest kite instructors, Jack Harrington. Jack came up through Kainetic, and we’re stoked to have him join the team. He brings great energy and a unique perspective thanks to his extensive watersports background. He’s been teaching with us for a few months now, and we feel lucky to have him on board.
Exciting News: Launch of the Foil Academy!
All roads eventually lead to foiling—and we’re thrilled to announce that we’re partnering with Tucker McGrath (see pic above), who will be heading up our brand-new Foil Academy. Check it out here: https://kaineticadventures.com/foil-academy/
In addition to e-foiling and wing foiling, we’re expanding our offerings to include:
· Wake foiling (behind the boat)
· Prone (surf) foiling (the ultimate foiling experience)
Note on Efoiling- starting next week we have moved our location to Shark River in Belmar. Amazing flat water spot for easy riding.
This fall, Tucker will also be offering private and group Surf and SUP surf lessons in Bradley Beach.
All new activities can be booked online via our website Kainetic Adventures

Quick Bio: Tucker McGrath
Tucker grew up in New Jersey immersed in adventure sports and spending endless hours on the water. After ten years as an ocean lifeguard, he launched a small private surf school in 2015, which quickly became the premier destination for surfers of all ages and abilities to learn in a safe and inclusive environment. More recently, he’s expanded to include SUP surfing, e-foiling, and surf foiling—and says he hasn’t had this much fun in years.
“My dad pushed me into my first wave when I was eight years old, and surfing has been the greatest influence in my life ever since. I still surf with him today, and now I get to share the stoke with my own kids. My goal is to pass along the same love and respect for the water that he instilled in me. For me, it’s never been about how good you are—it’s about how much fun you have.”
