I met Danny a few years back in St. Lucia. He is clearly one of the most talented kite borders that I have spent time with and he is an outstanding instructor. I had the opportunity to spend some time with him today at kite Beach. Right in the bay near the Barnegat lighthouse, this is one of the best places that I have ever been kite boarding. It is an outstanding location as it is knee-deep to waste high! It is the absolute perfect spot for instruction and for day kiting in a safe environment.  I’m planning on coming back to New Jersey next year specifically to come back here (and I live in North Carolina where I have been rained out twice in the Outer Banks). I had a fabulous day with Danny and the Kainetic Adventure team on Kite Island. The water was shallow and warm - perfect for learning. Danny took me through a progression of kiteboarding skills that built my confidence and ability. By the end of the lesson I rode a few short runs downwind! As a beginner, I've taken kite lessons in many spectacular places - mexico, san francisco - but nowhere have I experienced the level of attention and professionalism that Danny and his crew provide.  I made instant progress with these guys at their spot on Kite Island - a) because this spot is epic and perfect for learning and b) because this operation makes it very easy to jump in and start riding. Danny and his team were professional and fun. It was my first time kiting in several years (ive been to DR, Union Island, Cartagena and Florida) - this is the coolest (and best) place to learn. I had an amazing day in the water with Danny and crew from Kainetic adventures.  Kite Island was such a cool and user friendly place to learn.  Everyone on the boat was friendly and made you feel like part of the group the minute you arrive.  The instructors broke down every step of kiting from inflating the kite all the way to safely riding on the board!  The instructors are safety oriented and professional, their insight and tips are what truly sets them apart from others.  So if you want to really jump into kiting this is the outfit to go with.
