Description
Experience what it feels like to fly above the water.
E-foiling uses an electric-powered hydrofoil board that lifts above the surface as you ride, creating an incredibly smooth, quiet feeling that’s somewhere between surfing, snowboarding, and flying. Unlike other foil sports, there’s no wind or waves required — making it the easiest and most approachable way to learn foiling for the first time.
Most first-time riders are able to stand, cruise, and experience the board lifting above the water during their first session.
Perfect for beginners, families, summer visitors, and thrill-seekers looking for a unique Jersey Shore watersports experience, e-foil lessons offer more flexibility than traditional wind sports and can be booked well in advance throughout the season.

Your session starts with a quick on-land intro where you’ll learn the basics of the board, hand controller, and riding position before heading onto the water with your instructor. Most riders begin prone or kneeling, progress to standing, and eventually experience the moment the board lifts silently above the surface.
Because the board is electrically powered, there’s no waiting on wind or waves — just smooth progression, constant riding time, and pure adventure.

One of the biggest advantages of e-foiling is consistency.
Since lessons don’t depend on wind, sessions can run far more frequently and with greater flexibility than traditional wind sports. Calm mornings and lighter boat traffic typically create the smoothest conditions, making it easier for beginners to learn and progress quickly.
E-foil lessons run throughout the week based on instructor availability and water conditions. Below you will find lesson availability in both our LBI and Belmar locations.
