2025 Season Opener
Hard to believe that we are embarking on our fifth season! Time flies when you are doing what you love and meeting great people along the way. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
We hope everyone enjoyed their winter and got into some form of adventure. Our past OBX trip last November and La Ventana Baja, Mexico trip in Feb were a blast. We got plenty of wind and waves and as always, lots of laughs and good food. On behalf of myself and the staff – it’s always great to be able to connect with everyone on a deeper level on these trips – especially when it’s over margaritas in the hot tub (shout out to Palapas Ventana for the pitchers!).
Ok – let’s get down to business. The winds are starting to turn south and the water is warming, so wind permitting – the target date to open the school and island rides is May 1st.
We have a large shipment of new kites coming in from Cabrinha and need to make room in the trailer for the gear. So – now is the time to pick up a used school kite to round out the quiver or if you are just getting into Kiteboarding, a starter kit – Cabrina 24’ Moto’s 6m-14m in range and control bars. Pricing will range from $350- $800 with additional discounts for packages. Please let me know if interested.
Once again – we’ll be doing an island clean-up and those who participate will get one free island ride good for this season and the next. Lookout for upcoming details.

Wing foiling continues to be a dominant sport worldwide. I think we can all agree by now that it’s not a fad. If you want to increase water time this season, wing foiling is the way to go – especially on those westerly days! We will also continue offering efoil lessons on no wind days. If you are interested in foiling sports, efoiling is by far the easiest form of foiling and a great first step before trying winging.
